90-Ball Bingo Help

Overview

90-Ball Bingo is the bingo game traditionally played in the United Kingdom and Australia.  The game is similar to 75-Bingo, where players purchase Cards/Tickets, then mark the numbers that are called and hope to be the first player who correctly completes the winning pattern.  Although the basic foundations of the two games are the same there are many differences.  In the 90-Ball Bingo cards have three rows and nine columns. Five squares in each row contain numbers ranging from 1 to 90 and the rest are blank.  The winning patterns are always the same and there are usually three patterns in each game.  Each game has three patterns and each of the three patterns has a prize associated with it.  The patterns include Single Line Across (Line), Two Lines Across (Two Lines), and Full House.  The first player to correctly cross off a horizontal a Line; then Two Lines and finally for crossing off all the numbers on a Ticket (Full House), would win the corresponding prize for that pattern.

Ticket

In 90-Ball Bingo, each individual face (grid of numbers) is referred to as a Ticket, which is synonymous with cards in 75-Ball Bingo. 90-Ball Bingo Tickets are 3 rows by 9 columns. Each row contains 5 numbers and 4 blank spaces.

Strip

90-Ball Bingo is almost always played with Strips of six Tickets. Each Strip contains all 90 numbers distributed throughout the 6 Tickets in a Dab-All format.  If a Strip (6 Tickets) is played in one bingo game then every possible number from 1 -90 is covered and therefore, a number is crossed off at each bingo call.

Selecting / Purchasing Tickets

You may select and purchase tickets only if you have adequate funds in your player account.  Select a Ticket by Clicking once anywhere on the face of the Ticket. Select an entire Strip of Tickets (six Tickets) by Clicking the Select Strip option at the top of the Ticket area.

The Ticket will appear yellow when selected, and the Upcoming Game information at the top of the screen will show the number of Tickets selected. To purchase your selected Tickets, Click on the large Buy Selected Tickets button at the top left of the Game Window. To deselect a Ticket, Click on each selected Ticket.

Quick Pick

For easier and quicker game play, you can also use the Quick Pick feature.

1.  Click on the Quick Pick button in the middle of the left section of the Game Window.

2.  A small pop-up window will appear.

3.  Choose either the default number of Tickets, or Click on the 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 or MAX buttons, or enter any number of Tickets you wish to purchase.

4.  Click on Buy to purchase or No to cancel your selection.

Viewing Tickets

There is a horizontal scroll bar directly below the Ticket area. Use this scroll bar to navigate through your purchased tickets.

For players who have their screen resolution set to 800 X 600, you will typically see 2 Strips/12 Tickets displayed within the Game Window at one time. For players with higher screen resolutions, you can "maximize" the game screen by Clicking on the little Window Box that appears in the very top right of the Game Window.

You may also manually resize the Game Window by using your mouse. To resize the game move the cursor to the very edge of the Game Window, when the small directional arrows appear, Click and hold your Left Mouse Button and drag the Game Window to enlarge it. This can be done both horizontally and vertically.

Game Options

The Game Options lets players customize their experience.  It is located in the Menu bar along the top of the Game Window.

Auto Daub

This option gives players the ability to turn off the Auto Daub feature and Manually Daub the Tickets themselves.  Players can toggle ON or OFF the Auto Daub feature.  The game default is ON.

Even if you miss a called number while manually daubing, it will not affect the outcome of the game if your Ticket is the winner!  A check mark will appear beside the Auto-Daub when this feature is on. All called numbers will be highlighted in colored squares on all game cards that you have purchased.

Bingo Caller

This option gives players the ability to toggle ON or OFF the Bingo Caller.  The game default is ON.

Auto-Card Selection

This feature lets players pre-select Tickets for all subsequent games.  The number of Tickets chosen will be automatically selected but NOT purchased at the start of each game.  A player must choose to purchase the Tickets for them to be entered into the game.  This feature is not applicable for fixed price games.

Bingo Pattern

The current game pattern name will be displayed along the top of the Call Board. It is also found beside its associated Prize within the Game Stats information. The current game part being played is highlighted.

Call Board

All Bingo numbers 1-90 are displayed on the Call Board. As numbers are called, they will light up in yellow. You will also see the last (5) Bingo calls displayed right to left at the bottom of the Call Board.

Calling CLAIM!

Directly below the Call number is your favourite word - Yes, Claim! If you are the first player to match the pattern in play, Click on the Claim button to Claim your prize.

Please note: if you fail to call Claim when you are the valid winner, this will NOT disqualify you from being the winner! You will be declared the valid winner even if you have inadvertently closed your Bingo session, have been disconnected from the game, or simply forgotten to Click the Claim button.

Game Stats

Located below the word Claim, the Game Stats include all the vital game statistics for that particular game. This includes your Player Name (Alias), your current Player Balance, the Number of Players in the current game, the current Prize and the Time to Next Game countdown.

Chat is an integral part of any online bingo game.  It allows players to communicate with the Game Masters, friends and other players.

In the small box at the bottom on the Conversation window, type your message and then Click Send.

Blocking Players from Chat

If you would rather not see another Player's chat text, clicking on the individual's name will bring up the Mute option. To cancel the Mute just Click on the player's name again.
